Our guide Alex picked us up at the hotel at 1 am together with the driver. The communication beforehand was clear and swift, so we were prepared well for the trip. Alex was very patient with us doing the hikes up to the viewpoint and later the Bromo crater. And over all wonderful company, he knows a lot about the area. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Our guide had us at the Bromo viewpoint before any of the tour buses arrived. Having the jeep to ourselves made the whole sunrise feel a lot less rushed.

Did the Ijen blue fire hike with just my partner and the guide. Steep and cold at 2am, but he paced it well and had masks ready for the sulfur smoke.

Tumpak Sewu was the highlight of our trip. Pickup from Malang ran about 20 minutes late, but the driver kept us updated the whole time.

Booked the 4-day grand tour. Every vehicle swap and hotel change-over was handled without us having to think about it.

Solo traveler, was a bit nervous about a private tour, but it ended up being more comfortable than a group van. Guide answered questions in English easily.

Good value for a private trip. Would suggest packing warmer layers than the packing list mentions — Bromo before sunrise is properly cold.

Booked last minute for a 1-day Bromo trip and they still managed to arrange everything within a few hours. Jeep driver knew exactly where to stop for photos.

Great trip overall. The horse ride up-sell at the crater felt a bit pushy, but easy enough to decline. Views were worth the early wake-up.
